Two of us flying out tomorra ex Bestie @12:15 - staying Premier Inn Fosse (apparently within a bagel's gowl of Welford Rd) - hopefully find a suitable hostelery between it and the ground to lubricate the vocal chords!!

Apparently something called Duffys is an Ulster bar doing filled sodas before the game and music after

There's probably about 30 I know of staying there and checking around that time (myself included), so you won't be alone.devonredhand wrote:staying in Holiday inn so checking in there midday
That said, there will be good numbers in most hotels around Lester.

It's opposite the magistrates court - probably more Oxford Street than the Crum.Hans Indaruck wrote:Any idea where it is - presumably it is somewhere in or abouts Leicester and not on the Shankhill or N'ards Rd!!??Russ wrote:Apparently something called Duffys is an Ulster bar doing filled sodas before the game and music after

This is Duffy's - don't know anything about it but it gets good reviews on tripadvisor. Looks like it is 0.5 mile west of the train station and about 0.6 miles from the ground.

It won't have proper Cookstown sausages though and they will probably do something daft like put beans in the sodas.

2 arriving at 12 tomorrow, staying castle park hotel. Heading to ground for 3 might try Duffy's beforehand if handy. Tickets bought straight from Tiggers, on the terrace and heading to see this cover band after. Might get a wee bit tipsy.

Have one for me. I'll be plundering from my living room, hopefully loud enough to be heard on the Crumble.fermain wrote:4 of us just arrived in the Holiday Inn. Place very quiet so habing a cheeky drink or 2 & enjoying the rest before tomorrow. SUFTUM
