New songs for Saturday

Post by boysontour »

Need some new songs for Saracens to steal!!!
..... any suggestions?

What about:

(teenage kicks)

Ravenhill on a Friday night
Where no-one beats the boys in white.
Another game in the neighbourhood,
We are ULSTER we look so good!
With Tommy Bowe, Tommy Bowe on the right
And Pienaar kicks right through the night
ALRIGHT...........

......any more? >elvis

Some have trouble remembering SUFTUM even when sober, they would be lost with that.

To the tune of "I am the music man"-

We are the Ulstermen
We come from round your way
And we can play
(What can you play?)

We play the Pienaar
Pi-a, Pi-a, Pienaar
Pienaar, Pienaar
Etc

We play the Rory Best
Hook the ball against the head,
'Gainst the head, 'gainst the head
Etc

We play the Big Bad John
Big bad, big bad, big bad John
Big bad John, big bad John
Etc

And whatever other verses you can think of, if necessary just running through the team and repeating their names ad nauseam.

In Paris we coined a brilliant tune.

Basically you shout na na na na na na na na na na na na. Na na na na na na na na na na na na. Na na na na na na na na tom court tom court ulsters number 1.

Repeat for all 23

Yet another new songs thread, great.

Quite enjoying your Legs until I got to the 'gainst the head bit & I thought, nah.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

To be honest, I'd really only thought of the Pienaar bit and was padding it out...

To the tune of Delilah:

Our, our, our Ruan Pienaar
Our, our, our Ruan Pienaar
He kicks, he scores
He's ours and he'll never be yours
Ruan Pienaar is in Ulster for ever more
If only everyone had Neil McMillan's dedication....

Not much fussed either. Ocassional witty talent is displayed but in all honesty we will only sing SUFTUM, Ulsterrr Ulsterrr, the gimme a U one and the 1F song

Are you going to Snipe Watons Fair?
Baggy , Russ , wee woman and Dave
Remember me to the one who lives near
For once she was a true love of mine.
Tell her to make me an Ulster shirt,
Baggy , Russ , wee woman and Dave
Sewn without seams or fine needlework,
If she would be a true love of mine.
Tell her to wash it in yonder well,
Baggy , Russ , wee woman and Dave
