Remind me again, someone, why we are signing Hogg? Is it because Payne is eventually going to be a boy in blue? Hogg would be a good addition, no doubt, but I'd like to see some new forwards.

Hogg is apparently a distant relative of George best, just in case anyone needed a useless fact for the day.

Got to say, really good investigating work going on here by Starsky. I think most people thought he was spoofing but good on you for getting a photo uploaded. Next time just make sure you bring a Nikon with a zoom lens for conformation on the transfer rumour thread haha.

Been fun reading the past few pages anyway.

Stormont Hotel. Poor photography for sure but I was trying to get the guy on the right at this point (think it could well be Van der Merwe). Didn't realise it was Hogg until he got up from the table.

I'll actually be staying in the Stormont Hotel tomorrow for a few days... I'll make sure to bring my camera (and zoom).

But yea, lets get real here - would Anscombe meet without somebody else from the club?

Would you meet two potential signings for the same lunch date.

If anything this would be a player and his agent.

Also, apart from a similar head of hair, the photos don't even tell us for certain we are looking at Anscombe!
