Are Sotic back to run the Ulster site !mikerob wrote:The administrative contact for epcrugby.com is still the same contact in Sotic as ercrugby.com so it looks like Sotic are still doing the website. (ulsterrugby.com has the same Sotic contact as well. Sotic run loads of rugby websites)
They'll probably just take the ERC website and do a global find and replace of "R" to "P".

How does that work?
The body was not formed hence couldn't buy it themselves. Its quite common for someone to purchase a domain name for someone else

Ulster will be in tier 3 apparently.
The King is dead. Long live the King.

Reading more on this, oddly the pro 12 and top 14 seeds are the champions while aviva seed is top team in league phase. I wonder will that change depending on where Saracens finish!mea97mb wrote:Epc tweeted that the 3 top seeds are Toulon, leinster and Saracens....WTF if it's on merit it should be saints!

Thing is both Leinster and Toulon also topped their leagues so it's just possible that is the criteria across the leagues.mea97mb wrote:Reading more on this, oddly the pro 12 and top 14 seeds are the champions while aviva seed is top team in league phase. NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

No there is an explanation on the Epc website and the way I stated is the official line.BaggyTrousers wrote:Thing is both Leinster and Toulon also topped their leagues so it's just possible that is the criteria across the leagues.mea97mb wrote:Reading more on this, oddly the pro 12 and top 14 seeds are the champions while aviva seed is top team in league phase. EPCR Pool Draws - Key Principles:
- The 20 teams are divided into four tiers based on their qualification position from their leagues. This will be done in advance by a draw
- Each of the five pools will have at least one side from each of the three leagues
- Each of the five pools will have one side from each of the four tiers
- There will be no more than two teams from the same league in a pool
- No pool will contain two PRO12 sides from the same country
- Teams from the same league will be kept apart until the allocation of the Tier 4 sides
If my maths are accurate we have a 50:50 chance of getting one of Toulon or Sorrybastards.

Well, let's hope for Sarries; revenge is sweet!
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!
