Bryn “Coming into the business end of the season, it was vital we secured someone with a high level of experience capable of adapting to a new calling system quickly".

Is he having a laugh or has he learned his lesson with ray maker

He actually has a wikipedia page!!
I have said before it should be introduced as compulsory requirement for all our signings.
Having said that its more of a sentence than a page.
Still it only taking us half a season to identify that we need a decent back up 7.
Jupiters c*ck!
At least we have one now so well done the Brynster.

Apparently 4 games off the bench when he came back to answer a back-row crisis for the Highlanders in 2013 or so I am advised and the two years before that no contract. Plays Southland Stags.

Do we call him the Grass Mower or the Hedge Trimmer either way he's one of ours now so hope he arrives fit enough to play at this level and not take time to get up to speed like Raaymakers who according to his management is a back-row player with a reputation.

russ..… my fear and its genuine is that he is able to hit the ground running in terms of fitness levels etc given that like Raaymakers it is another short term contract and he is here to do a job not keep Raaymakers company learning the calls… he was as I understand playing part-time and running a business so I hope fitness isn't an issue… He was offered a contract in Japan a while back but turned it down….

Apprentice Boys?
Never wrestle with a pig. You end up covered in muck and the pig loves it.

Ok that was a surprise, hopefully he'll be ready to play Treviso on 13th Feb.

Mr Afoa, on a rare appearance in New Zealand has met with Boys to discuss lineout calls.
Ulster rugby paid for Mr Afoas trip and subsequent expenses as well as a one of bonus of £1.1m

I have a Wellington season ticket for my sins, so watch a fair bit of NPC rugby, and as scrum5 says, never heard of him. Journeyman at best.

Brad Shields, Ardie Savea or maybe Blade Thompson would have been my picks out of the Welly Lions back row.

I guess anyone good enough to be playing super rugby isn't going to come at this point in the season
