Probably will ... they'll have to top the gash they dealt out to Luke ...

Re: Marshall and Wilson cited
Tactically, would it not make sense for Ulster to appeal this, pushing any suspension down the road a week or two, McCloskey then back maybe one week later?

Has an appeal ever won or changed anything?

Don't think it works like that.Old dog wrote:Tactically, would it not make sense for Ulster to appeal this, pushing any suspension down the road a week or two, McCloskey then back maybe one week later?
NUCIFORA IS A BELLEND
Re: Marshall and Wilson cited
Following this decision and whatever may happen to Wilson I would expect the entire Ulster Management team to come out strongly and support the players and confirm appeals against ridiculous decisions have already been lodged.
I do not want to hear the mantra from the past about the players know how important good discipline is etc.
Any comment from the local Referees. Past or Present???? May be our lazy sports reporters could actually now attempt to get a view and lets here it if we are indeed a dirty team.

Just read about this. What the fock is going on? The game is descending into a complete farce. I'll be even angrier if UR don't grow a pair and appeal this ludicrous ban. Marshall is not a violent or aggressive player and that trailing foot was a complete accident. Well done disciplinary committee(!)

I was wondering that as well. Would he lose the 3 week reduction though?Old dog wrote:Tactically, would it not make sense for Ulster to appeal this, pushing any suspension down the road a week or two, McCloskey then back maybe one week later?
Re: Marshall and Wilson cited
It all becomes clear when you consider that the chair of the disciplinary committee played tag rugby for Scotland

Snipe I used to think you had a bit of sense but that sir is the biggest load of tom kite written in this threadSnipe Watson wrote:He left a trailing leg that hit an opponent in the head. What did you all expect? The slow motion is the killer in situations like this. At full speed it would look relatively innocuous, but slow it down and it's incriminating. Luke above all people should have been alert to this.
