Personally I'd have given Peter Stringer a phonecall and offered him the chance of a swansong back on these shores.

What kind of message does this send out to academy players that we're signing Munster and London Welsh rejects? If Conor Young is being hyped up so much surely hes worth taking a punt on?

It's either a blatant kick in the nuts for the Academy ... or a wake up call that they're just not good enough, rubbish in rubbish out.breakdown wrote:What kind of message does this send out to academy players that we're signing Munster and London Welsh rejects? Who knows.

The cleaners in our work were reported to have been playing Whack a Mole in traps 2,3,4 and 6 in our place last week ... seems the canteen curry was as Gregg Wallace would say ... Ghastly!

Who says it is a kick in the teeth? If they are not able to compete with London Welsh's sloppy seconds then they aren't good enough.Cornerfleg wrote:It's either a blatant kick in the nuts for the Academy ... or a wake up call that they're just not good enough, rubbish in rubbish out.breakdown wrote:What kind of message does this send out to academy players that we're signing Munster and London Welsh rejects? Indeed Dave ... someone is making the call on you young guns ... the question is do you reckon Waldorf and Statler and the other Minions rejects from Despicable Me are competent enough to spot talent if it donned an Acme Wesley Fofana suit ripped Northampton a new one and said ... "Hello Boys, where do I sign"

These two bucks were not even starters for the worst premiership team in history ! There is obviously some big news coming soon. Very underwhelming.
Re: More signatures ... Browne and Rowley
Browne has been talked about on here. Rowley not.
At least we have someone to talk to for the 2015 Meet the new players night.

We must need their winning mentality.
