McCloskey is a good impact sub.
Let's get one thing clear. I have forgotten more about playing centre than all of the rest of you shower put together will ever know after my stellar career in the heady heights of 2nds and 3rds mortal conflict. That's not the thing to be established by the way, that's background and established fact. My point is that McCloskey is a fine young talent and a big unit with decent hands and feet. He is not the finished article and not in Darren Caves league at 12 or 13. Darren has big game smarts and temperament. McCloskey is occasionally rash and is still learning the finer details of midfield play. There you have it.

Nail head the on Snipe. McCloskey is still very raw and would obviously disagree with rum that he isn't an impact player. He is currently better coming on against a tiring defence where the opposition will be less likely to scrutinise his inexperience defensively and he can run through a few tired shoulders.

Now in a few years him and Chris Farrell would be a fairly combative midfield duo.

He and Henshaw would be one large centre combo.
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!

Genuinely hoping Leinster get the W in Toulon. They'll field the twos against us, there will be irish representation in the final and also MOC will get another contract!

I would imagine, even if MOC were to somehow accidentally fart Leinster into the final, he would be "McGlocked."

If they replace him with Anscombe I wouldn't be terribly upset to be fair.

Public houses near the Liffey would be rubbing their hands with glee.

My dear fellow! Hardly a gentleman. He supports Ballynahinch!
That's a scurrilous rumour.

I take it that due to the wonders of modern forum nuking techniques I missed some random horse shyte about McCloskey being a better player at 12 than DC, and that he isn't an good impact player ...

Wow that's almost as disappointing as missing the Hugo Duncan show ...

I like your thinking Buck, said the same earlier ... c'mon Lienster go toe to toe for 15 rounds with the Comic Book guys steal a win and send the girl guides up next Friday.
