What???????????? You gave up aged 14? What happened Ruckie?
Touch rugby ended and they were allowed to tackle.

Feck off! I have my eye on the Ireland shirt.
You'll not be needing any of that resin crap on your hands Merv. I've never been known to pass the ball. The very definition of greedy balix.

Poor team structure. It was 13 actually, and the team I played for had already established an "elite" squad of which I was always on the periphery but never really in. Coaches never looked at us and therefore the fun of the game was gone. Other things took over sadly.
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

I played at 15 for most of my adult playing days, but could slot into any position in the backs.
I last played 4 years ago, when I was supposed to cameo in a game with my son on his 18th birthday, the cameo lasted 70 minutes and I loved every minute of it :D

Believing that the numbers on the shirt ranked players according to intelligence and good looks I started as a loose head, then hooker through school. Ended my days, when the brain cells started to go, on the wing for a Golden Oldies team .. They were allowed one honorary oldie under 30 and needed someone to fetch the ball from over hedges or from streams when the ref couldn't be persuaded to do it.
Best rugby ever ... Playing in slow motion.

No

I once played 12

I even once played 13 when I forgot my boots and wasn't allowed to scrummage (had to play in trainers)

Rarely was I seen at 2 except in an emergency

Everywhere in the backs and back row.
Had one game at hooker in an inter house 10s game.
Absolute insanity and couldn`t move my neck for a week as a result.
Hats off to the front rowers everywhere.

4 or 5, 'Second Row' in old money, then 8 for a year or two. One game in the front row - living death - probably why I don't even remember if it was at loose or tight.

You're not supposed to have a neck to play in the front row!
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?
