Who was your UlsterMOTM vs Munster?

Post by fermain »

Indiscipline, bad decisions, poor ref???? >flog All of the above, but we came from behind twice, and haven't lost in Ravenhill again.

So, who was your MOTM?

Even with the red (that shouldnt have been) its between Hendo and Jackson, but Jackson gets it for that pressure kick

Don't usually vote for backs but Jackson get's my vote, disappointed with the scrum today, Lutton needs to be brought back into the fold but then that would mean Clarke breaking the habit of a life time and admit he was wrong....

Wtf is this team giving away so many dunderheaded penalties? Why are they putting themselves in positions that result in unnecessary cards? Wtf is Bronson Dross still on the payroll? We all know there is enough talent in our 15 ( maybe not in our 22) to win these end of year games but we dont manage to get over the line. I'm not convinced that incident warranted a red. Hendo led with his forearm but I could not see a clash of heads so possibly a yellow but nevertheless we make things unnecessarily difficult yet again. Munster did defend valiantly today but were there to be beaten. Too many dropped passes, boneheaded grubbers (seriously Dan?) and ambitious training ground moves that waste possession. Can decision making actually be coached or is it a skill a player is born with?

Hendo till his daft card, surely never a red. Jackson for his kicking off the tee and passing although not one of his better days kicking from hand.

I wouldn't vote for Hendy. Yeah he played well on the whole, but gave away some daft penalties.

PJ was fantastic from the tee and his ability to bring players to the gainline with his passing is simply sublime. He seems to be able to zip the ball 5, 10 20m it doesn't matter. Flat, fast and straight to the receiver.

Nelson played well, good kicker of the ball and his hit on Earls in the first half when he lifted him and ripped the ball was excellent.

Wilson was doing well before he left the field (concussion?)

Best and Henry were everywhere.

Van der Man had another good game.

Payne had his best game in Darren Cave's shirt. Makes ground with the ball, appears to have bulked up. Still lacks the distribution skills of DC though.

I think I'll give it to Herbst, some of those tackles, especially on Stander were bone crunching.

So, leading with the forearm is legal  re newsflash dunderheads it is illegal

Is it worthy of a red card though Kofi?
Remember Bismark was given a second yellow against the All Blacks for leading with the forearm and that seems about right.
PJ for mom though as mentioned Herbst would have got it had he played the full game.
And we would have won.

Hate to say it but in the current climate leading with the forearm in to a ruck is always risking a red. He completely nailed him with his forearm. I don't think the Munster player was even doing that much in the ruck anyway. Complete waste.

He led with the forearm and made contact with the forearm AND head. Red card all day long.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?
