Exactly.
If Piutau is a missing piece in a team gig saw capable of greatness, then the 500K outlay is peanuts.
Otherwise signing a current AB just because he is available at eye catching money is nuts.

We should be looking beyond these shores for a teenage rookie monster for our middle /back row, in addition to a Vermeulen!
NZ AU have an unfair advantage scouting in the PI's.

That is a ridiculous statement! How could he have been spotted in Moira? That's a good 8 miles beyond Lisburn.
Can I come out from behind the sofa yet?

So is Ferris really just being rested and Dr Dave gone too Glaws to spy out the best buys for a raid on the English player pool? It all falls into place. Why didn't I see it? :duh:

Thought Moira was posh Lisburn?
Or is it just a traffic jam?

Anybody know when NZ will announce their Tri-Nations squad, should be a good indicator of whether they are dumping Chuck or not?

Then it's time to press the IRFU about rejigging his contract. It would be seriously stupid not to make the best case possible for some leeway.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.
