Of the oldies the Flintstones were great but my favourite TV show of that period would have to be Top Cat with Chooch and Benny the Ball. Can't remember the other gang members but Officer Dibble featured prominently. I suspect it was loosed based on Bilko. My favourite of the recent stuff has to be Homer. But my vote for greatest ever cartoon characters goes to Tom and Jerry. Nuff said.

Chipmunks (Alvin, Simon, Theodore.... go on you know you want to sing along too!!!) and the Raccoons when I was younger and Superted too!
Now I still love a bit of bugs bunny - must be the Warner blood in me veins lol! And obviously Homer Simpson is a legend!

Nostalgia at its best jamesie! Took a while for a mention, but mum got there with Tom and Jerry - definitely my fav! Others include Charlie Chalk, Chipmunks (me and my brothers pretended we each were one of the chipmunks and we used to act them out. Is that really rare??!! Remember the episode with Michael Jackson? TV gold!) Wacky Races, I loved Woody Woodpecker, Racoons (though it was a bit scary!) and of course the Flintstones.
