Where's Stanley?
Re: WELCOME to ULSTER CHARLIE Boy
Stanley made the 26, but not the 23 man match day squad.Russ wrote:Where's Stanley?
In the same way that Paul Emerick or Mike Stanley is a Ulster "legend" .Kofi Annan wrote:Neil, what makes him a legendNeill_M wrote:1st ever visit apparently by the ABs to play in Samoa. Ulster legend Filo Paulo starting in second row
Re: WELCOME to ULSTER CHARLIE Boy
Is he a legend in that he was quite decent but we couldn't pick him, which differentiates him from lots of other players who are quite sh!te but we can pick them?Neill_M wrote:Stanley made the 26, but not the 23 man match day squad.Russ wrote:Where's Stanley?

Re: WELCOME to ULSTER CHARLIE Boy
If Stanley had been selected by Ulster he likely would have made the team
Ulster have fecked Samoa big style

Re: WELCOME to ULSTER CHARLIE Boy
Its true he was not able to play, so will never know how good he could have been. The fact he was not getting picked regularly for Cardiff Blues last season and is heading to Treviso this year would imply didn't miss out on much.
Would seem Stanley is 3rd choice 10 for Samoa. Will be interesting to see Charlie Boy play tomorrow morning.

Re: WELCOME to ULSTER CHARLIE Boy
Pastry is a legend for two reasons ... when he played at Malone his hair was simply epic ... and he also managed to get onto our web site as going to Belfast High School. It takes skills to be an illegal immigrant in East Belfast at 6 foot 7 rather tanned and with a name like Filo Paulo and pass yerself off as going to BHS!
Always ask yourself, "What would Big Rodney do"... And every time the answer is... "Eat It"
Re: WELCOME to ULSTER CHARLIE Boy
Only saw the last 10 mins of the game, so not sure how he went overall, but he made a cracking break that should have ended in a try in the last couple of mins. Strong breaking through a half tackle and just needed to have stepped off his right to have been in under the postsNeill_M wrote:Will be interesting to see Charlie Boy play tomorrow morning.

Re: WELCOME to ULSTER CHARLIE Boy
He saw very little of the ball.
The All Blacks knew they'd been in a game though.
