So Philomenas is the rallying point for Ulster fans in central London before heading out to deepest, darkest Barnet?
I've never been out there before so is it Northern line to Mill Hill East then get the shuttle bus from there?

Shuttle buses also go from edgware. More trains go to edgware
Reckon I'll be there with crew around 11am for a feed and some pints. Maybe a sing song
Can anyone bring spare flegs?
Re: Saracens away January 2016
OK, seems to be train every 5 mins to Edgware but about every 15 mins to Mill Hill East so get first train to either.
There are shuttle buses from Mill Hill Broadway and trains to there from St Pancras but only 2 trains an hour on Saturdays.

Seems easiest to hop on the Pic at Holborn and head up to St Pan and then hop on the Northern to edgwaremikerob wrote:OK, seems to be train every 5 mins to Edgware but about every 15 mins to Mill Hill East so get first train to either.

Could be a good SUFTUMing opportunity on the tube
Re: Saracens away January 2016
Its only about 10 mins walk from Philomenas to Leicester Square or Tottenham Court Rd and you can get the Northern line from there. It is probably quicker than walking to Holborn getting the Piccadilly and changing lines.Russ wrote:Seems easiest to hop on the Pic at Holborn and head up to St Pan and then hop on the Northern to edgwaremikerob wrote:OK, seems to be train every 5 mins to Edgware but about every 15 mins to Mill Hill East so get first train to either.

True but you're on the wrong northern line for edgware (but the correct for MHE) so would need to change at Camdenmikerob wrote:Its only about 10 mins walk from Philomenas to Leicester Square or Tottenham Court Rd and you can get the Northern line from there. Re: Saracens away January 2016
Not used to the weirdness of the Northern line... however there is still a service every 5 mins on the Leicester Square/Tottenham Court Rd branch and changing Northern line platforms at Camden is quicker than changing from Piccadilly to Northern at Kings Cross from what I remember.Russ wrote:True but you're on the wrong northern line for edgware (but the correct for MHE) so would need to change at Camdenmikerob wrote:Its only about 10 mins walk from Philomenas to Leicester Square or Tottenham Court Rd and you can get the Northern line from there. Feck it is any wonder Sarries fans have trouble travelling to away matches, that would do anyone's head in, sounds like it's easier to get from Plumbridge to Ravenhill using Translinkmikerob wrote:Not used to the weirdness of the Northern line... however there is still a service every 5 mins on the Leicester Square/Tottenham Court Rd branch and changing Northern line platforms at Camden is quicker than changing from Piccadilly to Northern at Kings Cross from what I remember.Russ wrote:True but you're on the wrong northern line for edgware (but the correct for MHE) so would need to change at Camdenmikerob wrote:Its only about 10 mins walk from Philomenas to Leicester Square or Tottenham Court Rd and you can get the Northern line from there. It's basically having all your fans and the team in Cork and playing in LimerickRooster wrote:Feck it is any wonder Sarries fans have trouble travelling to away matches, that would do anyone's head in, sounds like it's easier to get from Plumbridge to Ravenhill using Translinkmikerob wrote:Not used to the weirdness of the Northern line... however there is still a service every 5 mins on the Leicester Square/Tottenham Court Rd branch and changing Northern line platforms at Camden is quicker than changing from Piccadilly to Northern at Kings Cross from what I remember.Russ wrote:True but you're on the wrong northern line for edgware (but the correct for MHE) so would need to change at Camdenmikerob wrote:Its only about 10 mins walk from Philomenas to Leicester Square or Tottenham Court Rd and you can get the Northern line from there. Get the 92b to Omagh, the Goldliner 273 to the big smoke then Metro 6a or 7b to Ravenhill......Simplessounds like it's easier to get from Plumbridge to Ravenhill using Translink
