I'm fairly sure there's a 'Things I Feckin Hate' thread somewhere.Snipe Watson wrote: This board is turning into 'fracks on the bax'.
Is there a clothing thread somewhere for such discussions.
At least Mervyn tried to introduce an air of levity.......

Re: Meet the new players evening.
So did any of the players have anything interesting to say at this fashion show, or has it been mentioned already?
I see the Beeb are quoting Marcell as saying he'll hopefully be ready mid January and Charles saying he'll play anywhere in the backs, so I assume that rules out him playing 6.

Charlie boy can knock that prima donna attitude on the head if he thinks he's coming over here to pick and choose, he'll play where he's toldJoe Schmo wrote: I see the Beeb are quoting Marcell as saying he'll hopefully be ready mid January and Charles saying he'll play anywhere in the backs, so I assume that rules out him playing 6.

I went along last night _ mainly because it was free. Who cares about the shirt. The 6 players came across as gentlemen and all were very sociable and interacted really well with the supporters. If they play half as well as their character suggests we will all be happy - and I actually thought Rodney looked quite trim. Charles has comitted to us and Marcel thanked Ulster for the way they had treated him.

That looks like its been printed on a printer with no cyan ink/toner - it's horrendous.mikerob wrote:No matter, the Ulster Euro jersey still isn't as bad as the new Leinster change shirt.

I scanned it with a bar code reader. It actually is the first line of a Roddy Doyle poem.Cap'n Grumpy wrote:That looks like its been printed on a printer with no cyan ink/toner - it's horrendous.mikerob wrote:No matter, the Ulster Euro jersey still isn't as bad as the new Leinster change shirt.

Re: Meet the new players evening.
going solely off the promo pics but Coetzee looks like he can pack some serious power. very much looking forward to seeing him in action.
new jersey looks class, don't care for the promotion or whinging. Part of the modern game - could be worse, look that that Leinster mince. looks like a Munster training jersey that's been boked on.

You could say the same about Robbie Diack, yet he'd struggle to break through an overly moist lemon drizzle cake.Loki wrote:going solely off the promo pics but Coetzee looks like he can pack some serious power. very much looking forward to seeing him in action.

Thankfully have watched Coetzee a lot over the past seasons, your observations are correct

Coetzee is much bigger than I thought he was.
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

I used to be Diack's biggest fan, he always worked hard. Can't fault a man who gives it his all.
Unfortunately last year he slipped away badly, hoping he can fight back this year.
