Ruan, Jacko, general selection of centres and wings and Charlie at fullback there backline for this Friday is certainly neither the best in Europe or on the pitch on Friday night either.
I will be very disappointed if we don't rip them to shreds and get a bonus point try while they go back to their sheep empty handed

How can we play our own backline?

I thought the Pro12 policy was neutral officials but with Dudley last week and Young Ben on Friday night we seem to be back to normal. I suppose Whitehouse is marginally more desirable than Ian Davies, ( Pat Lamb. Best friend when it comes to car parking.)

He seems to have cleaned up his act and is playing some tremendous rugby at present. A tough nut for a stringbean. Though it pains me to say it, he is possibly the best FB in the Brit Isles at the moment (and that includes Hogg).

Sorry to disagree but I think you meant to say that Spide Williams will be playing opposite the best FB in the Brit Isles at the moment ;)

One of the assistant referees and the TMO will be neutral where possible.
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

It was Mr Hodges who had a car park spat in Galway, not Mr DaviesImage

Good ref, I like young Whitehouse
I like him too, but he was born about 7 miles from Stradey.
I ask you BR, Whitehouse or Clowncy?

From that list, I'd pick BR, but then I'm biased.

Can you ref us, can you ref us, can you ref us every week?

This Friday, I shall be mostly looking forward to Liam meeting Charlie. If Trimble plays, my weekend will be off to best start imaginable.

Aird, it may have been either BR, Jesus or somebody else who mentioned this last week, but what is absolutely clear is that neutral refs for all matches is just not possible, there are too few Scots or Italians of anything close to the high standard set by George Clancy.

In that scenario I would prefer it to be the GLU agin Williams, not Charlie Boy.

Charlie would step around him, Trimby would just go through him.
