I think either one of the two club captains needs to start to be honest.
So would have Bestie benching and save the IRFU time clock on him.

I'd also keep Charles on the wing if either of Olding or McCloskey are back fit.

I would give Luke another week off then to cure his head and have Gilly & Trimby ready to be unleashed.
Ludik or Charles can cover either centre position.

Interesting times to say the least and can't wait for Saturday.

In Les I trust. :red:

More likely Olding than Marshall on the bench I'd say if that photographic evidence is anything to go by, they might want to stand Luke down for a week or two more just to be sure.

Referee: Ben Whitehouse (WRU, 29th competition game)
Assistant Referees: Sean Brickell (WRU), Paul Haycock (IRFU)
Citing Commissioner: Eddie Wigglesworth (IRFU)
TMO: Gareth Simmonds (WRU)

Hairsprays had a super start, but were well beaten in Dublin at the weekend. They are a good side, but it should be an Ulster win. The injury update should be available soon enough to see whether either/both/none of the Stu's are available and if Luke will be available again etc.

That may not please Herr Schmidt. I see AGP Ward calling for Girrid as full time full back, I like his thinking, Bob is so last decade.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

It wouldn't please me either.

Payne runs lines from 15 that no one else in our squad can see in time to act on them. Someone else made the point about his support play for DC's try being top-drawer.

The disallowed first try at the weekend was a thing of beauty.

Does that mean Bob is possibly going to be fit for Autumn matches ?

From twitter, both the Stu's miss out for this weekend. McCloskey out for 4 weeks. No confirmed return for Olding, but not serious apparently.

We need to pick players to fit the need of the team. We are low on centres so Payne should be played these. We can hardly complain about having a back 3 of Gilroy, Ludik and Piatau.

Never wrestle with a pig. You end up covered in muck and the pig loves it.

Nah.

Payne at 15, Ludik at 13 and Cave at 12. Sorted.

I think Rory needs to earn his spot back - feel much more comfortable with Rob at hooker :duck:

They both have advantages, Rob certainly more reliable at lineouts
