Pitch was re-freezing in less than 30 minutes in tempatures of +3.... something must be wrong in Belfast...

I used to give the groundsmen credit now they seem to be as bad as all the other brad pitt that comes out of UR...

It's amazing to read some of the we are brill apologists including URSC Comittee members on FB saying this could not be prevented, it could , end off.

Some one made the call , not to cover the pitch and prevent it from freezing, UR is a joke and this is just another example of amateurs trying to be professionals, problem is , no one really gives a fûck as long as they get a blazer and their wives get freebies.

UR , your a joke.

UR had the option to put in under pitch heating 3 years ago as the ground was being developed for 250,000 - didn't think it was worth it!!!

Looking forward the following weekends are options for the rearranged game. Bear in mind Zebre and Connacht have a game to rearrange from earlier in the season;

27-29 Jan
3-5 Feb
10-12 Mar
17-19 Mar

Also there are the Euro Knock Out weekends which will prob be available:

31 Mar, 1-2 Apr
21-23 Apr

Takes about £1500 a day to run it though so make that 3 trips

You really have to wonder Rovi, UR asked for and got £18M, Windsor Park got somewhere in the region of £30-35M (stand to be corrected) & if I'm not mistaken, I hear this week that the latest plans for Casement Park come to £76M.

Would the cheapskate Kingspan Stadium really have been turned down for another half million, 250K to install it & the rest for the bills? >EW

Look people, I really do understand that gurning about shortcomings is much easier than getting off your shytebax and getting something done ................... but really, have we really got a bloody clue what we are doing?

Tonight was disgraceful, they even had a peeler on a motorbike driving around Mount Merrion telling people the game was off. Fine example of Community Policing........ but what a shambles.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

They have probably spent £18 million on Casement already between plans, inquiries, bungs, back handers, redundancy payments, etc etc etc

Baggy ...... a very small part of the cheapskate attitude comes back to employing ill qualified people whose expertise is chasing down funding rather than running a professional sports team..
