Flight home from Liverpool tomorrow afternoon - tick!
Flying with EasyJet - minus!
SwissPort baggage handlers no longer on strike - tick!
Storm Barbara windier than my dog on Brussell Sprouts - minus!
Could still go either way....

Good wise decision, win the game you've a good chance of winning and keep your bumper Christmas crowd happy. I'll settle for that.Rooster wrote:Ah so Jackson and Best playing tomorrow means Ulster A going to Dublin on 31st

With an eight-day turnaround? Nah, we're not sending an A team to Dublin.
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.
Re: Ulster v Connacht match off?
Jackson will surely play in the RDS, there is no way we will go down there with Herron at 10.
I suspect we'll send a very similar team, just doing some rotation in the few positions we actually have some depth. And at 9, probably.

Re: Ulster v Connacht match off?
For the record whilst tomorrow will be Trevor Brennan Day 3625, it will also be DAY 20,492 (if my maths is correct) since the last win by Connacht against Ulster at Ravenhill in 1960. Worthy of a poster or two? Can someone work out when Trevor Brennan Day 20,492 will be ? Unfortunately I think I'll probably be dead

Not getting my hopes up due to match being postponed tomorrow afternoon.

Schoolboy error HWM, the 1960 date is erroneous I believe. The FIRFU record shows that Connacht were a serious pain in the hole in the early 60s.HwoodMike2umate wrote:For the record whilst tomorrow will be Trevor Brennan Day 3625, it will also be DAY 20,492 (if my maths is correct) since the last win by Connacht against Ulster at Ravenhill in 1960. Furthermore unless you can produce evidence that either the record is incorrect or that neither Connacht wins in 1963 & 64 were in Galway I shall consider you an uneducated buffoon, in so far as interpro rugby is concerned.
You appear to be out by several hundred days.1960–61 Connacht 6-3
1961–62 Ulster 11-0
1962–63 Ulster 19-6
1963–64 Connacht 13-3
1964–65 Connacht 13-3
1965–66 draw 3-3

Re: Ulster v Connacht match off?
Jacko won't be playing unless it's IRFU orders as his total minutes must be adding up, also there are 2 SDC matches in January so I reckon if he plays next week then he will miss the following week which should be preparation for Exeterruckover wrote:With an eight-day turnaround?
