Montpellier not giving many feck with the non defence for Conan's try

50-3 to Leinster now. Conan with a hatrick and he has been class.

This Montpellier side are a disgrace. Pierre Spies tries a chip over the head in his own 22 and gifts Leinster that last try. Only 3 French players starting and zero fecks given.

Conan had been great but the frenchies have been diabolical. Leinsters attitude and commitment in contrast to ulsters is startling.

Poor stuff from Leinster conceding 3 points. :D

It was interesting to here what Sexton had to say at the end. He was very quick to point out the role Lancaster has had and what he has brought to Leinster. Let's be honest they are a totally different proposition this year and I don't doubt Lancaster has had a huge influence on that. We shouldn't be surprised what a good coaching set up can achieve, Ulster have just not had that luxury, let's be honest whilst quite a few of our players can be considered sub standard the coaching staff are of an even poorer standard and I include Kiss in that.

I think the last time I saw an Ulster team that looked coached and had a game plan was under Abscombe and we were a totally different proposition then to what we are now. I remember watching that team in the red zone and the gear changes they had were plain to see. I brought a friend to watch a match who hadn't been in years and he couldn't believe the focus and step up in pace when we were in the opposition 22. Clear headed and precise rugby that led to trys.

UR will be in the wilderness for years unless there is branch and root change - of course it won't happen.

I think that game shows that the Ulster side are not quite as bad as some would have you believe in some respects ( defence ) - but Leinster showed exactly what is wrong when Ulster have possession -- straight line running into the ball and nobody trying to run round the opposition -- the supporting players are there -- to either take an off load --or protect possession when the player is brought to ground . The scrum half doesn't have to run half way across the pitch to recycle and Fewer penalties for failure to release .

So if Ladyboys were to meet the Chavspides in the final who
would one want to win?

I can't decide whom one detests more.

It would be splendid watching wee Janny against wee Owen.

Leinster, you couldn't love a chav spide if he was your own child

Great reffing by Doyle and Barnes. Meticulous discussion about the tackle and appropriate sanction and then:

Doyle - Which number was it?

Barnes - 4

Commentator - Er I hope they check that.

Haha yeah thankfully they got there in the end. In the post match interview, Sexton thought he was hit by a forward at first. In fairness Steyn is a big lump for a 10.

Janny's hamstring assessment protocol:

D4: how many fingers am I holding up? *Cough..four*

J: seven

D4: that's right janny I've three on the other hand that's in my pocket. Happy enough to go back on?

J: Yeah no problem mom. Can I open my presents now?

D4: Sure Janny...yeah his hamstring is fine.

So last month should it have been a red card? A yellow card? Just a penalty?

I was hoping for a decent game of rugby, and I don't think I got that with 15v14. I'm still going to take some convincing about these law alterations.
Can I come out from behind the sofa yet?
