Re: Where did it all go wrong?
Been thinking about next season and wondering what actually Kiss will be doing, Gibbes is head coach and forwards specialist and we have Peel as backs coach, Bryn deals with the team management and contracts so actually why is Kiss there and what will he do besides lift his wages ?

In year 2 (3rd season actually but he bought a year by being Schmidt-lite), I predict Kiss will be -Rooster wrote:Been thinking about next season and wondering what actually Kiss will be doing, Gibbes is head coach and forwards specialist and we have Peel as backs coach, Bryn deals with the team management and contracts so actually why is Kiss there and what will he do besides lift his wages ?
1. Telling everyone it takes a year to bed-in the new management team
2. blaming Logan/Bryn for player recruitment and
3. looking at exit plan.
If Gibbes actually is the Messiah then Kiss will be looking to
1. Take the credit - the Head Coach is only there to collect the bibs and cones
2. Oust Schmidt for being too Irish
3. Sack the Irish coaching team - as they're all dumb and dumber
Logan = dumbest

I suppose he'll keep interfering with those that know more than he does. NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.
Re: Where did it all go wrong?
Maybe Esportif can advise us on structures?
Re: Where did it all go wrong?
That's not a question, but I take yer point...we have no real structures and fecked if I know who does what, or to who they answer. My guess is most supporters are similarly befuddled.
There's much talk of D4's role, but how much control do they have? I know we can't operate autonomously, but would a different CEO bend over quite so easily?

UR thrive on grey/ muddy waters were no one really knows who has responsibility for what. Christ I think at last count we had 2 Match Day Managers plus Bryn who amongst other things is also responsible for all match day operations.

Well hopefully we'll have fewer injuries next season, so the need for operations on match days will decrease...oh wait you meant....ahh forget it

Seems a question that has been asked before and seemingly always dismissed that we have no more than every other club.. not so sure despite repeatedly being told we are ahead of everyone on all the background stuff.Tighter End wrote:Well hopefully we'll have fewer injuries next season, so the need for operations on match days will decrease...oh wait you meant....ahh forget it
