It actually reads: "5 from first phase Piutau"

Two of those listed are backs normally remote from the breakdown ( remote being a person other than first receiver )

Three are back row players .

Momentum is created by the first receiver getting over the gain line which requires the receiver to be taking the ball at pace and not being in the position of getting ball and tackler at one and the same time, which results in a "Diack catch 22" either going quickly to ground or trying to stay upright to enable the forwards and support players the opportunity get behind the ball.

The first frequently is penalised for failure to release and the second results in the player being taken backwards due to double marking of first or second receiver and lack of supporting players.

Real momentum requires two gain line breakers and quick recycle after the first phase .

On friday night the first receiver frequently took the ball wide and ran back towards the breakdown to ensure a quick recycle because the scrum half didn't have to follow the ball across the field-- the ball was being brought back to him.

Meanwhile, Tipuric played for Ospreys, the Lionels turned out in decent numbers but the Patricks? Nah, too tired to play 2 months & some weeks later. This bench-warming & cheerleading can be both trying & tiresome.

But as I keep telling people FOLK is a füçkïñg liar.

You just wonder is Marcell an accident waiting to happen. I fear for him...... and Ulster.

Wonder if there is another Wannenberg or Deysel out there somewhere?

McCall popped a finger and Charlie tightened something.

I'd take no chances with Marcell or Charlie and give Rea a start or give him a half. Start Cave sub on Luke, to accommodate the need for returning players to get game time. Luke and Bowe on the bench. Bowe has had more game time than most. Then pick the best combos for Scarlets.

McCall
Rob
Herbst
AOC
Treadwell
Deysel
Chad
Rea/Reidy
Cooney
Christian
Stockdale
McCloskey
Cave
Trimble
Ludik

Something like that. If you disagree I'll fight you.
