Re: Any word on the Academy?
Nathan Doak at 9 for the U18s was clearly being held back by Ruan.
Never wrestle with a pig. You end up covered in muck and the pig loves it.
Re: Any word on the Academy?
Doak is u17 as far as I know.

depends what school?Rooster wrote:Couldn't possibly have a club player better than a schools player !therealspratt wrote:I did find it odd that Fox missed out on an academy place given his involvement with the underage teams and even being preferred to Lowry at certain points, not surprised to hear he outplayed McPhillips though.
anyhow one thing that would help them in all this is a little bit of WD40 to help some of the cogs in the setup start to work together... many are pulling in their own direction and for their own purpose.... then you have a CEO who tells all that will listen and even some that don't want to that the PRO 14 was his creation and his alone and that the RWC 2023 will see him knighted and become Ulster Rugby greatest living legend.. move over Gibson and McBride your number is up.. I hear he is eyeing the naming of a stand after him.

Lowry will not struggle to get game time at Banbridge. If he isn't involved with Ravens/u20s etc he will start for Banbridge.Russ wrote:Lowry will struggle to get game time at Rifletherealspratt wrote:Lowry hasn't played for Banbridge yet to my knowledge, he and Angus Curtis are the only two academy outhalves we have.Rooster wrote:Work it out there is only one combination of matches played in Ulster that fits the description, if you haven't worked out by Saturday I will tell youBayern wrote:Who is that?

Ulster U18s beat Leinster 18-17 today in Donnnybrook to pick up the Interprovincial title. First in over a decade and believe...

I see Alex Codling's Ealing Trailfinders are 4 out of 4 with 4 winning bonus points and top of the league, yesterday they thrashed London Scottish 72-12, next up for them are Bristol at Ashton Gate.....
