Will Zebre play a weak team against us? They have a winnable game against Edinburgh the week after.
Team to play Zebre.

We will see Zebre take up the mantle of underdogs and then surprise us with a tough game and push Ulster to their limits

Zebre clear favourites, they crossed the equator and picked up a TBP in SA, as I'm sure FOLK has said by now, we've almost no chance, they are a great team.

Re: Team to play Zebre.
I expect Zebre ( with O Shea being the Italian Coach ) to play a similar game to Treviso a tight defensive game, and keep ball in possession until inside the 22.
With only to two professional teams and a serious dubbing in the last 6 nations O 'Shea will be wanting the two teams to be singing from the same sheet.
Thus I expect Ulster to win ,in what could well be a dour display of a game, if Treviso's last two home games are the template for Italian rugby against teams who want to move the ball.
The margin will depend on how well Zebre stick to the template.

Within this carapace of skepticism there lives an optimist

McCloskey will have week off since he missed out last weeks rest Luke and Darren in centre is my guess, the rest depends on fitness of Ludik, Deysel, CoetzeeCornerfleg wrote:McCloskey to 6 .... Timoney to 12 ....

What do you do during a rest week ... eat KFC and play on the Xbox? Big Rod has a rest week even when he's picked.
Always ask yourself, "What would Big Rodney do"... And every time the answer is... "Eat It"

Rod ate the Xbox too.Cornerfleg wrote:What do you do during a rest week ... eat KFC and play on the Xbox? Big Rod has a rest week even when he's picked.

I think I'd be tempted to hold Coetzee until Connacht and hope to get a run of fitness from him between now and his holiday to South Africa.Rooster wrote:McCloskey will have week off since he missed out last weeks rest Luke and Darren in centre is my guess, the rest depends on fitness of Ludik, Deysel, CoetzeeCornerfleg wrote:McCloskey to 6 .... And that Ron'n is why I am heading to the Maiden City to watch it with one of my good drinking buddies and a goodly supply of Gin, Angostura, Lime & root gingah, and Ginger Ale, my current way of enjoying less than stellar gin for a fraction of the price of Echlinville.rumncoke wrote:I expect Zebre ( with O Shea being the Italian Coach ) to play a similar game to Treviso a tight defensive game, and keep ball in possession until inside the 22.

I brought two bottles of Larios 12 from Spain in August, doctored as above it's as good and a Jawbax & gingah.
What? This is a rugby thread, not a gin thread??????????????? Shirley Shum Mishtake.
