Connacht away December 23rd
For anyone thinking of heading down to this one, tickets are now on sale from the Connacht website.

Reckon the gang should have a go at this before the game Neill.
Good laugh - I even managed to land 6 out of 8 penalties.
The website was slightly misleading in terms of the number of women present when we visited.
The highlight for me was watching about 40 hairy ass locals half my age trying to bowl a cricket ball.

Volunteer at an animal sanctuary; it will fill you with joy , despair, but most of all love, unconditional love of the animals.

I was waiting for that one!
I think we spotted a few half decent Galway girls in town to be fair.
The bunch of hens from Dublin trying to kick my door down at 5.30 am in the Connacht Hotel was a bit unnerving though.

Always a lively place Galway, one the best away weekends in the season. Shame about the scheduling of the game this year, so close to Christmas.
Always better with a spring game down there, the weather is slightly less worse than the winter!

Planning to go to this on the 23rd - where is the preferred area of the ground that Ulster supporters buy tickets for?
Re: Connacht away December 23rd
The bit in front of the clubhouse is the best of a bad job.
Try not to need a pi55 during the match or you'll miss quite a lot of game time.

When were you last in Connacht Justin? They've had toilets down there for quite a while now.

In the Sportsground, the greenhouse is the place to go if you want comforts like easy access to the bar and toilets. You also stay dry on the outside, which is far from guaranteed elsewhere in the ground given the Galway weather.
Don’t get the full noise from the crowd outside mind, has it’s own micro atmosphere.

Murty Rabbitts and An Pucan are good pubs in the town.
Murty Rabbitts is also the pre and post game pub for the Connacht fans.

Re: Connacht away December 23rd
3 of us going, just for the Saturday night. Preferred drinking pre match O'Connells at 8 Ayre Square.
On looking at Connacht ticket website today the Clan Terrace appears sold out. Cant seem to get our usual Main Stand terrace tickets at E27.50 and don't fancy either end terrace so that appears to leave seated in either Enclosure at E44 or Grant Thorton Stand at E37.50. Any folk goin to either of these? Is one of these the Greenhouse area referred to above by Neill M? Presume that getting a seated ticket would entitle us to wander into the Main Stand Terrace which is where we always go - as long as you aint on the flat bit and can get up a few tiers of the terrace. Ponder folks.

The Enclosure is the "Green House", not guaranteed a pew. The Grant Thornton Stand is reserved seating.

Enclosure ticket then gives ready access to the main terrace- which is what we had to do when the terrace tickets sold out last year
