Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
So of the senior players, it's bye bye to Cave & Trimble, maybe a prop or two, Jackson & Olding. My question to class is, where in ainm an Athair an Mhac agus an Spiorad Naomh are we going to replace them from?
Christian Leali'ifano might come and obviously Guissepe Carberry will be at 10.

NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Have to wait and see with PJ and SO...
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?
Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
Trimble has a further year.
Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
Trimble is out of contract in June I believe, as is Bowe and Cave (Gilroy,Payne,l Marshall presumably all getting retained). I’m presuming new contract extensions done around Feb at the latest? Potentially a hell of a lot of changes in the outside backs as well as the pack.

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
At this stage it would hardly be a surprise if Payne called it a day. Trimble and Bowe hardly likely to accept the cut in wages their usefulness would require, and may get a final payday elsewhere. Cave's face doesn't fit, and the Lionel press will be all surprised when he starts playing excellent rugby under their noses weekly. No matter the outcome of the trial one would assume that if there is a lot of dirt chucked around during it the two accused may prefer a fresh start somewhere.
That leaves us with Lulu & Admiral @ 15, Gilroy & Stockdale on wings, Stu & 4 feet Luke in centres, Cairns/Cooney @ 9 and not a whole pile else.

Yes but if we get rid of Kiss all these problems just .... fly away!

Quite the opposite but if we retain him they multiply!Cornerfleg wrote:Yes but if we get rid of Kiss all these problems just .... fly away!

If we get rid of kiss the defensive system can change. That would be a start.

Trimble on an Ireland contract this year and next year an ulster contract.
Bowe is going to retire this year.

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
Highly unlikely we will see PJ again and most definitely not Stu ever playing for ulster again. Even if the court case goes there way, there will be that much dirt out in the public domain, sponsors will dictate to UR what will happen. They might give Mcphilps ago to see how he gets on, he's been surprisingly good for Hinch this season in 1B, but it's a hell of a step up. An overdue clean out of dead wood is needed even if it means we suffer abit for a couple of years. Time to rebuild
Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
That could be construed as a pretty serious allegation.
