Can't you just be happy he'll go sometime?
Always ask yourself, "What would Big Rodney do"... And every time the answer is... "Eat It"

Re: Ulster Rugby Round-Up podcast
Is the difference between the ASM dynamic forward play last season and Ulster's static forward play this season, both under Gibbes, adequately explained by lesser abilities of the players available?
Re: Ulster Rugby Round-Up podcast
Or, more harshly: Could the panel please tell us what the Ulster pack from Monday do as their day jobs?

Re: Ulster Rugby Round-Up podcast
If by lesser abilities you mean our forwards are unable to be coached to run onto a ball .. get low ... latch on - hit the ruck - first - hard and committed so that we just don't retain ball but we gain , inches, feet, yards ...
Then I suggest it's not the coaches fault but a scandalous lack of basic skill from all the forwards.
While there is no way we have world class forwards - other teams with similar levels of mediocrity and play a very aggressive dynamic game ... Somewhere in the middle is the issue.

Re: Ulster Rugby Round-Up podcast
You didn't do a traditional highlights package / review of 2017.
No one did it on here either.
My question is therefore what were your lows and lowers of 2017?
For me there was Ruans departure game v Leinster and em... I'm sure there's more,.I just seem to have developed temporary amnesia.

I think we see it the same. The players are worse than those at Montferrand , but not THAT much worse. So what is Gibbes doing differently?Cornerfleg wrote:If by lesser abilities you mean our forwards are unable to be coached to run onto a ball .. get low ... latch on - hit the ruck - first - hard and committed so that we just don't retain ball but we gain , inches, feet, yards ...

Well boys and girls, THE FIRST EPISODE OF 2018 is available (it's the 14th overall for anybody keeping track) for your perusal!
This week we look back on:
- A bad game in Galway
- A bad half in Belfast
- A better but still not great half in Belfast
- A game in Dublin
- Our highs and lows of 2017 (thanks Liz!)
- The return of the SONI Premiership
As always, feedback more than appreciated, both positive and negative, either in a post on here or you can always sent me a PM if you would prefer.
Happy New Year all!

Good honest episode the format is good and reflects what supporters are thinking.
However, Adam you're talking through your chuff. It was as clear a red card as you'll ever see.
