I don't understand why Stewart has not been involved in any of the recent matches if the plan was to play him this week.
Ulster need to start preparing themselves better for Paul Marshall not being available on any given week at short notice. Stewart (or whatever one of the academy 9s has the current fancy) should have been benching the past few weeks at least.

Confident that we may sneak a result. Home advantage is a bugger to deal with but I am not all Gloom and Doom

You are right to a large extent Crouchie, but the plan was p, then like others this week despite the short turn around, managed to discomfort his body.thecrouch wrote:I don't understand why Stewart has not been involved in any of the recent matches if the plan was to play him this week.

McPhillips should be ready to launch his career when CL goes down under & his 16 minutes in Galway will probably be preparation enough, who knows he might get 10 more tomorrow.
From memory, Stewart got 20 or so against Leinster at home so he's well ready & a Leinster specialist.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

I only remember that he scrummaged well because leinstertainmentfans were claiming that Jack McGrath would tear him a new one but he didn't. Other than that he was shyte.Inspector Brown wrote:That was before his short lived burst of enthusiastic professionalism ran out.Dave wrote:RAY scrummaged well in the ourDS last year.
Hard to imagine any other coach than FOLK starting a player away to Leinster the week after subbing said player at halftime.

On Deysel I simply hope we get more.. he apparently played the sum total of 93 minutes with the Sharks before joining Munster last season where he only started 2 games coming off the bench for 5 others if not mistaken. Minutes on the pitch limted.

Why didn’t Munster want to keep him?

As in Miricle in 34th Street, I have my “I Believe” badge pinned to my shirt already in preparation. (Although I’ll forgo a trip to the bookies!) ![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
