I can see it's available on online, so I'll have a looks - thanks for flagging it up. The date, though, makes it largely irrelevant to the current debate. The atmosphere around anything construed as sexual misconduct has changed beyond recognition in the past year or two. Paddy and Stuart are victims of the new feminist-driven zeitgeist, but had it been leinster or munster players I think the outcome would have been the same.Russ wrote:Do you have a copy of Lions Raw from 2009?promenader 2 wrote:Has that been in the media? Has he opined on Rob Kearneys sexual harassment yet?

No it wouldn't because they could not have been named in the South if found innocent!!!promenader 2 wrote:I can see it's available on online, so I'll have a looks - thanks for flagging it up. Plus their employer would have been unable to take any action which was public for fear of identifying them and leaving themselves open to charges!!!

Moore was a great player precisely because he was an angry arsehole (and he was an angry arsehole in part for well documented reasons). He must have been an absolutely nightmare to play against (and room with) in his pomp.Russ wrote:Do you have a copy of Lions Raw from 2009?promenader 2 wrote:Has that been in the media? Sadly, he disappeared up his own back door some years ago. Training as a referee made him a worse commentator, and access to a Twitter account has sent him all Gary Lineker.
More angry about BOD's claim that the revoking the contracts would 'end the slur against the reputation of Irish rugby', and his reference to 'the consent issue' implies that he doesn't entirely agree with the verdict of the court case.
Why does sports commentary turn so many former players into self-regarding twats?

Would he have something to gain financially from following her lead?
BoD owns an agency that represents some Irish players who have a financial stake in PJ and Olding not playing for Ireland again
BoD is a poison chalice and his naked sectarianism was well known when he played Ulster

Fair points, Rovi, but I was thinking more about the Murphy - Zebo incident. I don't think they'd get away with that today.

Behaviour like that now risks leaving a stain on the game - amongst other things.

Good apart from the ongoing myth of the messages having anything to do with PJ and SO and specifically "sluts".Jackie Brown wrote:http://www.spiked-online.com/newsite/ar ... titilDTV-E

Never wrestle with a pig. You end up covered in muck and the pig loves it.

Moore and BOD were twats long before their commentary careers.
