If only we had kept Anscombe Snr, maybe Anscombe Jnr would have just kicked us to European glory.
Afoa playing yet another gane against the odds, at this stage he's defying Logan logic.

Gloucester should have been out of sight by HT, but weren’t and Cardiff played v well in 2nd half. Anscombe jnr was v cool in slotting the winning kick.
Afoa still trucking and off to Charles Piutau’s Bristol next season

Delighted for him, and now we can spend the rest of the weekend watching other former Ulster players win trophies.

Yep
Add Cardiff to Munster, Leinster, Ospreys, CONNACHT, Glasgow and the Scarlets as celtic sides who have won something since we last did.
That's leaves us with the mighty forces of Edinburgh and the Dragons by my reckoning.
Does the fair play award count though?

Just to add that I did Cardiff a disservice there as that was their 3rd trophy since we last won one.

Fair play to Nick and Cardiff, but could I add that Cardiff have won the competition we are desperately trying to avoid being in next season.
We might win it next year.

I'd take that Snipe.
The only problem is Cardiff as they demonstrated are currently a far better side than we are and we wouldn't have won that cup this year.
Not even close.
Unless we have a couple of worldy players rocking up for next season that we don't know about I can't see us even competing for second class European glory should we be in it.

What was it that that Anscombe Jnr called us a few years ago....UlsterNo9 wrote:If only we had kept Anscombe Snr, maybe Anscombe Jnr would have just kicked us to European glory.

As for Afoa defying the glipes logic he did that after one match never mind a few seasons and still playing...

Logan the Liar was quite smug when telling a ST meeting that basically they had sold Glows a pup ...........some fu@king pup Afoa, almost as smug as when he told similar lies about his role in sacking the two young gentlemen.UlsterNo9 wrote:If only we had kept Anscombe Snr, maybe Anscombe Jnr would have just kicked us to European glory.

Have I ever mention that I believe Slogan to be one of the most awful kunts I've ever come across? Still hoping there is some terminal illness in his future other than life.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.
