Leinster turn hostile as Bye Bye Baby hits a bum note in Ulster

ULSTER'S Celtic League defeat in Donnybrook was accompanied by the proverbial preponderance of bleatings from our friends in the north concerning allegations of being beaten by the '16th man'.
This complaint may have been upheld a year earlier when they also came second best, but last Saturday hardly produced any compelling evidence to back any claims of injustice.
However, one supporter was more annoyed at the not so sweet refrain which attended Bryan Young's sin-binning via the public addressed system - namely 'Bye Bye Baby', the Bay City Rollers' dinosaur.
So peeved was he that he rang the Leinster Branch to complain on Monday morning and, when they dismissed his rant, our friend was moved to ring Newstalk 106's Off The Ball.
We here within these pages agree with the Leinster Branch - bring on a bit of hostility! For a province derided for having none, the more chutzpah they can muster the better!

ach, complaining about the song!! It's pathetic, what sort of bad sport is this guy. What about the banter? What about the craic?, and the songs we sing? When at fruitball games (i have been known to attend the Theatre of dreams now and again), we sing "Cherrio, cherrio, cherriooooo" to any player getting sent off!, or on one memorable occasion, "Auf Wiedersehen, Auf Wiedersehen, Auf Wiedersehennnnn" to the delight and humour of almost everyone there! well I thought it was funny!!
