The amount of the same injury at ulster says there’s something not right.

Gusher said he was walking about after the game so sounds like ACL.

Wedding in a couple of weeks apparently too.

As the wife was wheeling me out of A and E last week, she said “At least you didn’t do it just before the wedding”.

I obviously agreed I should count my blessings.

Any news on Louis?

Think he had his weight off the leg in that photo in the changing room.

It happened just in front of where we were standing - he was in serious pain. Looked like groin, but some of the staff were talking about hamstring. Hopefully just a painful tweak that will repair with rest over the summer - he is one player we really need , not least for his consistency of effort!
Hope is not a strategy.

Too right.

Plus he’s cover for about 5 positions!

I remember it as him landing awkwardly and I was worried about the knee. They didn’t show much on the tele. I don’t think Gusher had noticed.

Could be hammy, a bit like the one Hendy did a while back when it didn’t look to be the most obvious diagnosis.

A bit more wrist strengthening and a lot less rugby would solve this injury nonsense.

When you’re off your feet injured, wrist strengthening can be an attractive diversion.

Looked like he was holding his hamstring after he went down.

If it's his ACL, and he's been operated on, he should be out of the chair in two weeks with a robocop strapping on it. Well, out of it at least long enough for a few photos. Mind you, crutches, spilt drink and a dance floor won't make it easy for him at the afters! A pair of baggy suit trousers should see him get by anyways.

Best of luck to him and his significant other.

More worryingly, he'll be out for at least first few months of the season. Possibly until oct/nov? I was impressed with him in defence on Sunday, really throwing himself about and effecting change in momentum, you have to love a game changer. :red: >dance >appl >drinks  :fleg:

Louis was a hammy.

Luke had possession of the communal UR knee brace this week. Likely ACL given his discomfort etc.

Damn it.

That knee brace is probably covered in more hairs than the box in our firm’s cricket kit bag
