Cairns hasn't really had enough exposure for supporters to make a call. Those who see him week in week out should know more than us.

Was he a winger though or a 9 converted to winger, not as if the place is coming down with 9's

In a heartbeat.

I know its fashionable to have a go at Leinster - but if we got a few guys from there that know what it takes to win, then maybe they could drill that into the current lot who think they know (while they drink their f**king latte).

I'm not certain but think you have that right. "He'll never make a scrumhalf" DP & that was just before Kiss threw Cairns off and under the bus.

In my uneducated opinion, he performed better when thrown in against Mexico than did Jonny Stewart who Kiss also threw in against Mexico for a first start. :duh: :duh: :duh:

Anyway, he's gone. Wish him well.

I don't see Shanahan lasting much longer with us. Christ it's remarkable he's gotten this far already.

It is considering that he was earmarked for going not long ago, think p retiring a year early gave him another chance, I really despair that he is now promoted to our second choice 9 and if Cooney has to start at 10 is our first choice

Won't be surprised after a few injuries that we are playing club players in matches. The Supa Dupa squad will have a lot of the opposition scratching their heads about who they are.
