He should have had a clause in his contract to allow him to leave in such a scenario.

Good, it's a forwards coach that we need. Anyway, Farrell is like Jesus, they say he's coming but he never does. Oh dear ...... I hope I haven't offended anyone. Somebody please let me know if I have.kingofthehill wrote:Times are wrong.Deraless wrote:Soda Farrell to fill in till Dan arrives according to Irish Times.

NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.
Re: Dan McFarland
I have not heard anything specifically related to a formal interim coaching arrangement. I have been told that Farrell has been to Ravers on 4 visits over the last few weeks , presumably pre tour to Oz, looking over the current squad.
If either rumour of a temporary coach are true it would indicate to me that the IRFU are preparing to tell the money grabbing Jocks to do one and if they won't release Dan let them pick up his salary. Proper order.

He's not the interim coach, he's a very naughty boy.

Re: Dan McFarland
Can’t figure why many still blame the Scots for all or indeed any of this.... it was us or rather the IRFU that poached McFarland behind the back of his employers and it was the D4 press that broke the story but only after the stupidity of one of our own who got all excited and had to tell anyone that we had signed our HC but couldn’t say who.. maybe if we had asked the SRU first anyway we didn’t.... the Scots are doing what we would demand of Ulster had one of ours been poached..
