In the know Cockers. Thanks for the update.
Physios unlike 9's do grow on trees so it shouldn't be a problem particularly after the injury free couple of season we have had... But a new Head S&C Coach for me anyhow I had suspected would like to have got his feet under the carpet early and got all the programs set for the coming year not come in as the season starts and have to go with the flow... maybe I have that wrong maybe the new guy will just go with what is already in place or maybe he will come in and change individual programs either way he will be able to say he didn't get the squad fit or not as the case may be... especially if they all start breaking again..

Yes saw him at the camp, word with the dogs are , Dan has picked his own man ( well D4 has) and in true Ulster way can’t leave his current job until after the season has well started, the guys who applied and got turned down have been asked to run the show until he arrives :banghead: , I would tell them to politely go do one.

My confidence in a new dawn is starting to wain, feck I just can’t move on.

Ach Ger, we'll be grand, it can't get any worse....................... can it? Say it ain't so Ger, say it ain't so.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Physios unlike 9's do grow on trees
Did I not hear we are getting an international 9?

That's probably Alan Bennie. He has some caps for the Irish 7s side. He played for Lansdowne.

Yes they are not international caps in my book either but I think that is the spin that will be applied. D4 will tell us we have two capped 9s. Put Rodney at loosehead and we could have an international frontrow.

This getting rid of the physio and S & C coaches I still don't get. If the players were happy with them, and on the assumption that they frequently met with those from other provinces and national team to learn the latest techniques, what was the issue?

If there was a problem with S&C I wonder how Kevin Geary missed the chop/asked to leave.

Do we know the players were happy?
I can't imagine the change was taken for no good reason.
I can see how a change for change sake would be appropriate to freshen up the S&C department, Physio makes less sense to me. Of course none of us know the precise inner workings of the team and the role of S&C or physio. Someone in the corridors of power thought a change was necessary and we don't know enough to disagree.

He wasn't part of the problem?
