Thats the way I saw it too, no premeditated just braced reaction to being hit. yellow would have been more than enough.BR wrote:I only saw it briefly, but for me SP was hard done by. He set himself to be hit as you do as a catcher and the USAP player ran into his shoulder. His arm came up after the contact, which I think made it look worse.
What was the USAP player doing going in that high? Did he learn nothing at mini rugby?

There are a couple of options for watching highlights of the Top 14:
Sundays at 10:15am on TV5 Monde (Sky Ch 717) - Jour de Rugby. In French, showing the games from the Saturday.
Wednesdays at 9:30pm on Sky. All the games.

Saw the USAP Stade highlights. Going to be a long season for USAP if they play like that. Some of the tries were very soft.
The Parisse carte rouge was a very poor decision by the ref.

Parisse
Indicts to the referee he deliberately hit the player with his shoulder -- it was an intentional hit .
Intentional dangerous play is a red card.
When it goes to hearing no doubt the panel will make allowances for the mode of approach of the player and that bracing before being hit is a natural reaction and he'll more than likely get away with a one or two week ban .
But be assured the panel will find him guilty of dangerous play.

Did notice the O Connell Munster influence in the Stade rucking the tardy lingering on the wrong side of the ruck -long enough to slow the recycle or block one side for the scrum half to look twice at the options .
Pure Munster at its best

USAP are a poor side on that showing. Paddy will be released in the summer if they are relegated and back with us shortly after. It will all work out fine.
Day 134. Lest we move on.

Agreed. Sexton hasn't been fit since 2009.Russ wrote:Joe will be happy to have a fit number 10 going into RWCDave wrote:USAP are a poor side on that showing. Paddy will be released in the summer if they are relegated and back with us shortly after. It will all work out fine.

Only Scottish panels uphold bad refereeing decisions.

To be fair, the ref told them he's got it wrong.Snipe Watson wrote:Only Scottish panels uphold bad refereeing decisions.
But I agree, the Scots would have still banned him and then banned the ref for being indecisive.

Ron'n, now you are just being a Warren Gatland. This is the second time you have used "Parisse indicts". Now you may well mean that he "indicated" something or other but you sir are a complete and utter clown if you seriously believe that he indicated to the referee that he made a deliberate hit with his shoulder. That would be begging for a red card, it's pretty obvious that he did no such thing.rumncoke wrote:Parisse

LOOK.................. if something is bullshit, it remains bullshit, no matter how many different ways you attempt to spin it. You are talking utter drivel, aka bullshit.
