Marty, Herbst, Rodders all on sick call, so a half fit Ross Kane gets the nod on the bench. On loosehead, Hond is finished for the season, Rodders again, Diddie is shat, and nobody else is trusted.

A very wise man told me after his first sight of Eric O'Sullivan for the A team on loan, said he was the best player on the pitch and hoped we'd sign him full time, therefore I have hopes for him.

If we can compete up front and deliver some ball, I think this has the potential to be our best backline since the best backline in Europe was dismantled by _ old age, bad management, David Nuciffuckwallet, the Bank of Ireland, the FIRFUCs and the acquiescent Terry Shame Slogan.

I hear Addison is more likely to contribute to the overall effort than the waste that was Charless who spent most of two seasons at fullback selecting people to run into & die with the ball, more along the lines of Girrid. If someone has taught McCloskey how to pass Henry Speight might actually get a touch of the ball going forward.

Have to disagree :duck: . Cave is excellent at managing the backline in defence. Going forward he runs great lines and sets up others - speed isn't everything!!!

BTW - I agree with Rooster :fleg:

No he was always on the bench for the developmental team. He's likely injured already.
