How many forwards have we , ahem , misplaced this season? December has only started.

Good move to get him off the wage bill if he really is as crap and lazy as we have been led to believe.

Given the timing I would. Imagine he will be looking for a super rugby contract. Will be interesting to see if he gets one and any gametime.or of course a return to the mighty Kings in the pro14 could be on the cards

Our loss is sausage making in Northern Ireland's loss too.

When Speight leaves, Marcell will be our only NIQ.

Any room for Pienaar?

What especially f@#ks me off about the Hond signing is that he was the last “project” player we signed before the residency rules changed from 3 to 5 years. Leinster signed Lowe and we ended up with a saffer who barely spent 5 mins on the pitch, couldn’t displace the dross we have at loosehead and gets binned off early.

That ship has sailed, even if he would have played for loose change and happily stay on the bench when Cooney was available.....
but sure he can't run the support lines our top try scorer can.

By my reckoning we have a callow youth in EOS as our only match fit LH
In memory of Nevin Spence 1990- 15th Sept. 2012
Axel..... 30 October 1973 - 16 October 2016
Pedrie Wannenburg. 2 January 1981 - 22 April 2022.

Am I to take it from comments on here that some are sorry to see him go?

Cooper was impressive in the lose at Rifle Park on Saturday for Malone but struggled in the scrum.
