Glasgow have a mountain of injuries, McFarland knows their players inside out add the fact Glasgow are coming off a European exit much more deflating than our own I'd disappointed if we didn't go for it.

Throwing the Glasgow game only to turnaround and lose versus Edinburgh would be some kick in the teeth.

It sounds like some are already plotting squad rotation for the knockout phases. NEWSFLASH we've only three games left if we don't win any of our remaining league fixtures.
Nail. On. Head.

Resting players with only three league games left would be farcical. That's why I'm sure Dan won't do it.

You’re not wrong but a 6 day turnaround after a game with such a massive level of physical intensity is tricky. Hendy looked half dead in the presser.

There are some cracking fixtures left in both conferences.

I can’t make Edinburgh so wins v Glasgow and Leinster would be fine by me.

JB on the podcast thought Hendy and Marcel may not be starting against Glasgow.

Given that we’re 4 points clear in 2nd, not factoring in the distinct possibility of a post regular season campaign would be as least as foolish as making wholesale changes for Glasgow.

There is also a case for going fully loaded for Glasgow and then saving some legs for Leinster.

I reckon we’ll qualify with Benetton but we need to win twice to keep second.

While I would love to see us going full metal jacket the next 3 games last weekends exertions need to be taken into account. I expect us to lose in Glasgow even with a half decent team which will serve nothing only make beating Edinburgh harder. I'd rest up hendo, marcel, cooney, stockdale, Moore, herring and EOS. Means putting all Hope on beating Edinburgh but a performance like last weekend would do it and is possible with a 2 week prep.

Wouldn't rest Stockdale.

He'll want to make amends so from the first set piece give him a one on one with his opposite winger.

Beats most players one on one so should act as a confidence builder. Though he doesn't strike me as someone who loses confidence easily.

Hear hear.
You didn't play prop, did you? As a former big lad in the second row, I always said wingers had an easy life.

No 11. Hated 14 because I was hopelessly one footed and couldn't kick to the right touchline

The >TT have named a strong 23 for their game v Cardiff Blues tomorrow. Means it is likely they will send the 2s to Italy next week ahead of their SF with North Barnet. If that is the case not good from a :red: pov.

Can anyone not see Scarlets getting 15 points from their three remaining games?
I see UR making third at a push.
Pessimistic but realistic.
Any real optimists out there?

I see them getting 10 from Zebre and Dragons. Their game v Edinburgh is hard to call. Clearly the Scarlets will be fresher with no QF etc.

We are still 9 points ahead of them. They won't get 5 points against Edinburgh.

Am I right in saying wins for Edinburgh and leinster today means we can seal 2nd place with a win next weekend? Barring stupid things like 4 try + losing bonus points.
