I'm struggling to put this all together in a sentence...

'They are filthy with rage because we beat them twice'

That it?
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

That's my take, but I'd be happy to see a nasty and ruthless streak on Saturday.

Ticket sales slow to say the least for Saturday. Only the West Terrace/"Prom" sold out.

That's strange in itself. Is the Prom the new Terrace ir is it because that's where the Westies' standing allocation is?

I suppose the once a season types have already had their "day out".

Good job the weather improved against Leinster - my nieces and nephew weren't put off for life and will be coming along again this week.

The wee lad got soaked anyway after someone behind managed to toss a couple of pints over him. :duh:

Average attendances appear to be declining.

2016/17: 15,961
2017/18: 14,663
2018/19: 13,697

I do believe the Connacht Clan lads actively told people to buy for the West Terrace so this may well explain it.

These figures don't surprise me. Last year was challenging and will have put people off. This year has gone surprisingly well (above my expectations). I suspect we will see an increase for 2019/20 based on the improvement this year. Still doing well in the league relative to other sides in terms of % of regular ground capacity filled re the crowds:

Munster (Musgrave Park Only) 100%
Glasgow 99%
Ulster 75%
Leinster (RDS Only) 74%
Connacht 74%
Munster (Thomond Park Only) 65%
Zebre (Parma Only) 60%
Dragons (Dave Parade Only) 59%
Cardiff Blues (Arms Park only) 59%
Scarlets 57%
Benetton 50%
Ospreys (Swansea Only) 34%
Southern Kings (Uni Stadium only) 17%
Edinburgh 10%
Cheetahs 9%

Ulster fans won't get out of bed for anything less than a Heineken Cup qf.

There is definitely a % of Ulster fans who only show up for the likes of Leinster and a Racing 92 coming to town etc. Not there on a wet Friday night in November for a game v the Dragons/Southern Kings >EW

I would have thought that any improvement would seen an improvement in attendance towards the end of the season. The fact that we are struggling to fill the place for a home QF is a pretty poor showing. I wonder what UR are doing about this?

Could this be anything to do with Connacht not taking their full allocation?
