I’ve never seen him play, I think he was quite well regarded at Leinster, his problem was that at 6’4” he was an inch or two too short for second row, and there was a ridiculous amount of talent in their back row. Interesting to see how he goes
Joining as a squad player? second row or backrow? how's he been playing in AIL?

Landsdowne have done pretty well and he's been a regular in the second row.

Matt Healy from Lansdowne to Irish cap within 4 years.....

O'Connor was in the Leinster academy and decided to drop out himself, after a year out of the pro game he fancies another crack at it. If he makes the same grade as his brother he'll do me.

Your point being what? That it's possible to go from club to country

Charlie Butterworth was the standout player in the AIL

Commentator in the Brumbies Blues game said that Christian Lealiifano is considering contract offers from France, Ireland and Japan. Assume Ireland is us?

King??
You've got to get your first tackle in early, even if it's late.

We could do with another 10/12 alright. Big stu needs a reliable back up .

Yea
There is AIL and there is Lansdowne and Clontarf who are a step above, give either of those sides a match against a provincial A side and you will see if there is much difference, just wait till Hinch play some of the 1A sides next season

Are we signing a new iq 10 to replace Mcphillips? Someone down the pecking order at another province with potential hopefully. Any ides who might fit the Bill?

Would like Lowry to be in the back up slot and potentially challenge over the season. The more I think about leli coming back the more positives I see. We have been lucky that stu has stayed injury free all year but we need another sound 12. Hume and curtis are still learning and a season or 2 with leli would be great from them.
