I get easily confused between Freddie Starr, Les Dennis and Bobby Davro.
Is it just me?

Bobby Davro is a Freddie Starr tribute act.

I see so is Les Dennis just a hybrid version of both?
Remember Richie Ritch always had in for poor Davvers.
He was no Tarby for sure.

Sadly, or perhaps mercifully, the Louisville Lip has done an Ali Shuffle off this mortal coil.

Often controversial, he was for me and many others one of, if not the greatest, sportsmen and personalities of the twentieth century.

Read it in the middle of the night when for some reason it had returned to the BBC front page for some reason  . Had a bad night - couldn't sleep and stuffed with painkillers - that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

Noticed that as well, seems to either be a problem on the BBC site.

Tonight (or this morning) it's Gene Wilder the BBC are reporting dead on their News home page. Link takes you to HERE, where at least if you notice it, you will see that he died in 2016 ... or did he?

Wonder did he know it was coming. Surely someone from the other side would have let him know in advance.

He was a chube at Ravenhill but I agree, his radio show on the BBC was excellent.
