Re: Injury Update
He's copied it from boards.ie possibly. Someone posted it there but no source.
Re: Injury Update
Off a link on twitter. Would post the picture but it says the file is too large?
You've got to get your first tackle in early, even if it's late.

Re: Injury Update
We will probably need him, at least another 2 props struggling with injury in addition to Gareth.
Re: Injury Update
JB on the podcast seemed to think this rumour was a load of gash.
Re: Injury Update
See Coetzee was at that open training session today. Didnt look strapped up.
Re: Injury Update
Michael Lowry only new addition to the casualty list after the Cheetahs game. Ankle injury.

Re: Injury Update
The Ulster Rugby Medical Performance Team have issued a squad update ahead of Friday’s fixture versus Cardiff Blues at Kingspan Stadium.
Following his return from South Africa, Michael Lowry underwent ankle surgery and will be unavailable for 6-8 weeks.
The following players have sustained recent injuries and are also unavailable for selection this weekend:
Rob Lyttle (back)
Tommy O’Hagan (knee)
Squad updates in association with The Ulster Independent Clinic.

Re: Injury Update
Why do these supposedly allegedly helpful injury updates only add confusion. Is it to keep opposition in the dark? Keep supporters in the dark? Keep players in the dark so as they don't know until game day who their playing partners are ( in the style of les kiss). Or is it all some form of panel game?
Re: Injury Update
Ulster's 'smoke and mirrors' around injuries is frustrating.
I think it was Wasps site I looked at a couple of season ago to check their injury list and they had a simple table with headings like player name injury, date injured, time out of action, anticipated return date - or something like that. I commented at the time that it couldn't be further from the guessing games UR play when issuing info about injuries.

Re: Injury Update
It would be too embarrassing for the UR fitness and conditioning team to publish such a list
Re: Injury Update
There are some things you need to understand before being so critical of UR.
When medical teams are looking after people - actually patients - they are bound by the same laws about patient confidentiality as is your family doctor when treating you for something.
That means they are not allowed to put anything about a player's injury or illness into the public domain unless he/she gives express and specific consent for their details to be made public.
You would not be too impressed, I suspect, if your doctor was telling the world about a disease that you had consulted him/her about.
So it is up to the individual player to say what exactly can be released. Because rugby is that player's job and means of income, there are times when they do not wish details of their injury to be publicised.
In addition, the coaching team will have an input into decisions about giving details of players' injuries.
Finally, we don't have any right to be informed about each and every thing that happens. I accept that it is helpful for some fans to know everything that is going on but we have to realise that this is not always possible.

Bo***cks to Brexit
Re: Injury Update
Do not get me wrong, it is a very good team for tonight. Is McCloskey injured again or just being rested?
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!
Re: Injury Update
