URSC

Post by AbzExile »

Just received my new 'Welcome' package.
Membership Badge; Car Sticker; Badge and a Club Buff.

Can someone explain to me, what is a 'Club Buff' and what do you use it for?

Well, I would preferred its closely-related cousin a club snood myself. Just the thing for a cold night at Ravenhill.... but doubtless a bit more expensive and Bill Wild already has his hat.

It's a middle class balaclava - very useful if you want to hold up Malone Golf Club.

For £12 aye. I've got passes for the 99 bar twice this season which is a nice addition to the match day experience. The ballot for Six Nations tickets went round twice for each match as well which is good for me as I'm not associated with any local clubs.

A few goes at passes for the 99 bar and handy enough access to Six Nations tickets last time round was well worth the few bob.

I am not a big consumer of URSC services. Over the years, I've attended a few socials, got a few busses and bought a few tickets for Lansdowne.
However for a tenner or so, I think they provide a service which is different to and compliments the almost purely commercial service provided by UR.

I hope they can get back to their activities now things are settling down covid-wise. And they can rely on my continued support.
