Munster v Ulster Sat 5:15pm

Post by Neill_M »

Ref: Frank Murphy
ARs Rob O'Sullivan and Paul Haycock
TMO Simon McDowell - all IRFU

TV - Eir Sport 1, Premier Sports 2 and Deferred Coverage on TG4 7:15pm.

Frank Murphy is a former Munster player and a Munster branch ref. They have the Leinster branch guy Sean Gallagher doing Connacht v Leinster.

Seems daft. Is there some logic behind not having neutral refs? I think Simon McDowell is an Ulsterman so maybe that's supposed to balance things up. By the way, is McDowell no longer refereeing, I haven't seen him on a pitch in quite a while?

Sadly it would be bigger news if Addison was fit.

Addison has had more injuries than Evel Knievel.

Looks like Marty Moore will be involved in some capacity for Ulster's trip to Munster tomorrow with Ross Kane being named in Malone's All-Ireland League side.

Would be a huge boost for Dan McFarland to have the tighthead back and firing heading into Europe next week.
