Connacht 2019/20

Post by Columbo »

Just noticed that the Westies don't have their own thread - they've had a class start to the season, probably the most impressive Irish province so far. Adeolokun and Farrell in great nick, Peter Robb looking good, Conor Fitzgerald looks like a useful player. The only shame is Paddy Mac's injury - he had nailed down the loosehead jersey and was playing really well!

Interesting to see if they can back it up against Leinster on Friday

A few new contacts signed too. The skipper and Sean O'Brien included.

Looking forward to watching on Friday.

It’s also fair to say that the coach isn’t doing badly, notwithstanding the stick he got when he was linked with the Ulster hot seat.

leinster -- bigger pack bigger score -- three maul toys in the first half -- moral of the story don't let them kick for the corner.

True - I include myself there..

Mind you - what a hoking! Yes they have a load of injuries, and Leinster were pretty class, but it was a pretty disappointing performance. Interesting to see how they go against Montpellier at the weekend

Excellent stuff. I didn't see this game but delighted Connacht made it clean sweep weekend.

Awesome from Connacht, 16 players out injured, are they training on concrete down there or something?? They actually wasted a couple of opportunities and Carty didn't have a great day.

Sensational comeback to beat Glaws!

Good win for Benetton home to Lyon too.
