Re: Injury Update
The Ulster Rugby Medical Performance Team have issued a squad update following Saturday’s inter-provincial derby versus Munster.
There are no new injuries to report from Saturday’s fixture. Both Louis Ludik and Will Addison have recovered from recent injuries and are available for selection for this weekend’s Heineken Champions Cup opener away to Bath.

Re: Injury Update
Should be a strong team with Coetzee, Henderson and Burns back as well.
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!
Re: Injury Update
Any word on Sam Carter or Jack McGrath?
Re: Injury Update
Didnt look particularly good for either when they went off. Would be great to have both back as they could be key on Friday night. If Ulster are going to win then we need our top forwards firing and not just the starters but bench too.
Missing these 2 does weaken our options, particularly at LH. I would rather Carter/Henderson plus Tredwell off bench.
Re: Injury Update
Carter was injured after being cleared out so it could have been just a very heavy blow, rather than a dislocation or a break.
Re: Injury Update
Sam Carter suffered a shoulder dislocation in last weekend’s Champions Cup Round 1 win over Bath. He will require surgery and is expected to be ruled out for approximately 3 months.
Jack McGrath is also due to undergo surgery for a thumb injury, and his availability to play will be monitored over the coming weeks.
Rob Lyttle sustained a shoulder injury, which will sideline him for an estimated 6-8 weeks.
Marcus Rea suffered a fractured jaw playing for Ballynahinch RFC. It is anticipated that he will return to play in approximately 6 weeks.

Re: Injury Update
So much for having an almost fully fit squad.
Re: Injury Update

Re: Injury Update
Time for Billy mk2 to step up to the plate.
Re: Injury Update
Indeed it is time to see if Mr B Johnson gets the job running the show.
Re: Injury Update
Lyttle today said he should be good in a few weeks. Didn't dislocate the shoulder.
Carter had surgery 10 days ago and says its sore as hell. Said about 2.5 months.
Lowry also a few weeks after a set back last week.

Re: Injury Update
None really for the next match then, can't imagine we will get it easy
Re: Injury Update
What’s the situation with Ross Kane, is he injured again? TOT has much to learn re scrum time, 1 injury to MM and we are in serious trouble.
