Harlequins vs ULSTER MOTM

Post by fermain »

A great game away from home, but some errors still in the mix.

John Cooney was the official MoTM aqnd been informed top points scorer this season in cup so far.

But do you agree?

If Cooney doesn’t get at least a few starts in the 6N it’ll be a disgrace.

But FIRFUs gain will be detrimental to UR. If we start to lose Cooney for half the season now under international duty and player management we need better back up 9s to start the majority of Pro14 games.

Has anyone seen Niall Saunders play? Know he was on the bench for Quins and read the piece about him in the paper during the week.

Ahh ballix. Who's the miserable fecker that voited for Cool Hands and spoiled Cooney's erstwhile unique 100% record?

That was me I'm afraid. But in my defence I voted without having watched the whole match. I was at a function and couldn't watch it properly

 I was in Navan and didn't see any of it. I based my decision on 3 mins of highlights!

For the first time, Cooney is becoming a real contender for Murray's place on the Ireland XV.

I guess we all have mixed feelings about Cooney for Ireland. He is clearly more than ready. It would be great for the lad himself and no-one would want to deny him the chance. But him gone leaves us pretty light.
