Leinster Away - Friday Dec 20th 7:35pm

Post by Neill_M »

As already pointed out, Mr George Clancy is the ref for this one. Game is on Premier Sports 1 & Eir Sport 1 with deferred coverage on TG4 at 9:30pm. The teams are announced tomorrow at lunchtime.

That is all.

Anyone going?

Giving it a miss this year and heading to Cambridge v Bishop's Stortford instead.

Now that's a proper grudge match - the 'M11 derby' as it's known in these parts.

By me.

Much as I like a wee trip to D4 I can't thing of a single reason to attract me to this.

HWM might invade the pitch again.

On previous occasions, we've visited the Abbey Theatre, done the Guinness tour and been to the Whiskey Museum. Went to the Emigration Museum last year which was good. Had 6 oysters at the Temple Bar and then went to JW Sweetnams for something more substantial.

It's always a good trip apart from the rugby!

I live here in Mexico and I'm not even sure I can be arsed making the jaunt up the road for this. Waiting to see what sort of team we're sending down.

Mr Clancy is bad news.
Hopelessly biased against Leinster, he ruins matches we are involved in with his idiosyncratic decisions. Will he ever just go away?
Anyway, it's a run out for our thirds against your seconds. Sooner or later the public is going to rebel against this "holiday" fare.

I'd like to think you're right, d and the public will rebel but I can't see it any time soon, at least as long as Leinster are still top of the pile and ulster are still churning out a fair number of good wins and filling us with some sort of hope.
