Throws up a lot of issues.

This surely gives them an unfair advantage as they can now treat their domestic league fixtures with contempt.

Likewise, the teams who have already played them in the Premiership pre relegation are surely disadvantaged.

Agreed BM. It is a joke of a situation.

Saracens is the real life rugby equivalent of Harchester United.

Apparently Championship teams need to demonstrate they have stayed within the EP salary cap for 2 seasons to be promoted...

How much did McCall know?

They're already out of the HEC for at least 2 seasons.

I wonder if they will stay relegated for 2 seasons to avoid opening up their books for this season?

A team winning the Championship doesn't need to accept promotion, they can choose to stay down.

I think we have a long way to go, but if we can get some sort of winning habit at home going it will do the cause no end of good.
Great weekend for Tigers. Avoided the drop  and secured a home Euro q/f. Onwards and upwards

The latest points deduction makes the rest of the PRL look like a brad pitt show as well. They had a punishment agreed, then after the fact having had the National Division 1 clubs point out to them that the rules of their own competition mean the team in twelfth get relegated regardless they've changed the punishment again to ensure that Saracens finish bottom and that clubs like Leicester aren't under threat.

The conflict of interests reminds me of the whole London Welsh saga when they tried ever trick in the book to stop Welsh being given a space in the Premiership. They did finish last with one point, but think a large part of that is down to not being given a chance to assemble a team in time due to the legal saga.
